Off-cuts are recycled into little frames. The sawdust is used in the vege garden. Modern buildings are made from pine, mdf, chipboard etc. Gone are the days when hardwood was the foundation of every building. We go to great lengths to source our timbers. We're always on the lookout.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eBeing recycled, the frame will have nail holes and weathering from its previous life as part of someone's house. We always try to make sure there is a feature in the frame. Rustic but not rough, that's Wombat Frames! We even skip dive to source our recycled cardboard for tha packaging\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eAll our frames come with glass and backing board. The images are very easy to insert. Strong metal flexi-points hold in the backing board and glass. You bend the flexi tabs to install or change the photos. Many of our display pics just don't show the glass. We take the pics near our sanding bench. It saves taking the frames back out after putting in the glass and re cleaning it all.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThere is a strong nylon hanging cord for hanging both horizontally and vertically. It is long enough that you can use more than 1 hanging point if you feel the need.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe recycled timber is sealed with Danish Oil for a flat natural finish to enhance colour and texture. Then, a coat of furniture wax for the \"rustic but not rough\" look. Gives a bit of zing!  It dries to a semi matt finish.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe courier delivery has a tracking number and insurance. We'll repair, replace or refund if there's any damage. Layers of cardboard and a lot of care go into our wrapping process. It's disappointing for you to receive a damaged frame. It's a whole lot of extra work for us too. We want you to be happy. We don't want to do any extra work. So, we really take care! We skip dive to source our recycled cardboard for tha packaging. This is a Recycled Australian Hardwood. It has a beautiful grain and as it's recycled, there are also a few nail holes. The colour and grain are enriched with two coats of danish oil. It's our best selling timber. It's close to a Teak or Baltic Pine look, too.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eRed Gum\u003c\/strong\u003e has a similar look to Jarrah, or red Mahogany. Features as a result of ageing and recycling are our trademark. It will vary, depending on whats available. It can be a dark, almost a dark chocolate brown to a more rich red colour.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eShabby Chic White\u003c\/strong\u003e is a pretty antique white flat paint finish which has been slightly sanded back over recycled timber. Our white frames are very popular, especially for the Beach House or Country Cottage look. They will brighten up any home decor. The recycled nail holes will show through. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eWeathered Rustic Grey\u003c\/strong\u003e looks like a rustic old fence. Years of sun and weather create a patina and appealing natural silvery grey colour. We don't have to reprocess this timber or treat it. Pictures look wonderful in this. This is a Recycled Australian Hardwood. It has a beautiful grain and as it's recycled, there are also a few nail holes. The colour and grain are enriched with two coats of danish oil. It's our best selling timber. It's close to a Teak or Baltic Pine look, too.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eRed Gum\u003c\/strong\u003e has a similar look to Jarrah, or red Mahogany. Features as a result of ageing and recycling are our trademark. It will vary, depending on whats available. It can be a dark, almost a dark chocolate brown to a more rich red colour.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eShabby Chic White\u003c\/strong\u003e is a pretty antique white flat paint finish which has been slightly sanded back over recycled timber. Our white frames are very popular, especially for the Beach House or Country Cottage look. They will brighten up any home decor. The recycled nail holes will show through. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eWeathered Rustic Grey\u003c\/strong\u003e looks like a rustic old fence. Years of sun and weather create a patina and appealing natural silvery grey colour. We don't have to reprocess this timber or treat it. Pictures look wonderful in this.
